Miscellaneous

  • Parker Lewis Can't Lose was a TV show that aired from 1990-1993 where the main character was known for not losing (he only lost once throughout all 3 seasons). Pete Wentz's middle name is also Lewis
  • The lyrics to whole album are supposedly written by Patrick Stump, and all the songs are about how he felt in high school.
  • "Pretty in Punk" is a play on the title of the John Hughes movie Pretty in Pink.
  • This is the only Fall Out Boy album not featuring Andy Hurley on drums and Patrick Stump on rhythm guitar. During this time, there were two unknown members of the band, a lead guitarist (TJ Racine) and drummer (Jared Logan).
  • The photograph on the cover of this album was shot in Chicago's Pick Me Up Café located at 3408 N. Clark St.
  • The address listed in the CD booklet is Pete Wentz's parents' home address.
  • Contrary to popular belief, due to differences in Patrick Stump's voice, Pete Wentz did not in fact sing lead vocals in any songs on the album. On the Fall Out Boy official site Q&A, he says that it is indeed Patrick singing, with a quip about puberty arriving late in the mail.
  • Current producer Jared Logan has been credited as the original recording drummer on this album.
