== Summary ==

I edited the summary to correct two mistakes. (1) Decompression stops do not "eliminate" the risk of decompression sickness - they reduce or control it. (2) Except in the most extreme cases (eg. explosive decompression), decompression sickness does not occur "during" a dive - it occurs on or after surfacing - often several hours after. These facts can be found in any basic SCUBA diving manual. TC [[Special:Contributions/203.122.223.121|203.122.223.121]] ([[User talk:203.122.223.121|talk]]) 05:29, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
