Lucy Angela Hughes-Hallett (born 7 December 1951)[1] is a British cultural historian and biographer.[2]
Hughes-Hallett has written book reviews regularly for The Sunday Times. In November 2013, she won the Samuel Johnson Prize for non-fiction for her biography of the Italian writer and fascist Gabriele D'Annunzio.[3]
She is one of the judges of the Duff Cooper Prize and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.[4]
