"Babymetal × Kiba of Akiba" (BABYMETAL×キバオブアキバ) is a joint single by the bands Babymetal and Kiba of Akiba. It was released in Japan on March 7, 2012.[1][2][3]

Music style

Barks described the edgy sound in the beginning of Babymetal's "Ii ne" as pikorimo (electronica + screamo)-style (pikorimo is one of Japanese names for electronicore. Then the song breaks down into hip hop, then develops into death metal sound + screamo, and into pure chaos.[4]

Track list

The album contains two original songs, one performed by Babymetal and one by Kiba of Akiba, and two bonus tracks. The bonus songs are covers: Babymetal covers a song by Kiba of Akiba and vice versa.
