Sanglorians are an American rock band from Echo Park, California. The band's sound has been described as "power pop of the highest order, with an orchestral slant, peppered with a bit of glam metal excess."[1]

Sanglorians were formed in 2011 by lead singer/songwriter Daniel Brummel (also a member of Ozma and collaborator with Weezer[2]), along with guitarist Jonathan Gomez, bassist Jeremy Keeler, keyboardist/trumpeter Ihui Wu, violinist Morgan Paros and drummer Matt Mayhall[3] (who has since been replaced by current drummer Jon Oswald). Their debut album, "Initiation," was released in October 2013, and critic Kevin Bronson of BuzzBands LA described it as "a maniacal collision of power-pop and prog-rock that at times has the feel of a shredder crashing orchestra practice."[3] The Deli Magazine called it "incredibly infectious... gushing with celebratory harmonies that vibrate with life,"[1] and referred to the album's first single, "Everybody Likes A Pretty Girl," as "a snarky assessment on how American society places physical beauty on a pedestal."[4] The band currently performs consistently in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, and is in the writing phase for their second full-length album.
