Prof. A.Q.M. Badruddoza Chowdhury (born November 1 1932 in Munsif Bari, Comilla, Bangladesh) is a politician in Bangladesh. He is a renowned professor of Medicine as well. When the Bangladesh Nationalist Party won parliamentary elections in 2001, Chowdhury became foreign minister. Shortly afterward, in November 2001, he became the President of Bangladesh. On 26th October,2006 Dr.Chowdhury formed a new party named LDP(Liberal Democratic Party) along with some other Ex.BNP leaders.
