This sentence is in error: "For each point left in the set, assign it to the new canopy if the distance [sic] less than the loose distance T 1 {\displaystyle T_{1}} T_{1}." I marked the part in error with "[sic]". The obvious error is that the word "is" should be inserted. But also, distance to what? And how is the distance to be measured (Euclidean? Manhattan?, etc)?
