When I'm editing quickly (typically when recent changes patrolling), I may use edit summary abbreviations from time to time. Abbreviations I use are as follows:

  • +: Adding something
  • +me: Adding a vote
  • cap/decap: (De)capitalizing
  • cat: Category
  • ce: Copyedit
  • cm: Comment
  • cv: Copyright violation
  • d: delete
  • dab: Disambiguation
  • el: External link(s)
  • gr: Grammar
  • k: keep
  • lgv: Last good version
  • lk: Internal link(s)
  • mv: Move
  • o: oppose
  • rd: Redirect
  • re: Reply
  • ref: Reference(s)
  • rm: Removing something
  • rt: Return
  • rv: Revert (these are somewhat uncommon, due to my frequent usage of Twinkle)
    • rvd: Revert unexplained deletion
    • rvs: Revert spam
    • rvt: Revert test
    • rvv: Revert vandalism
  • s: support
  • sp: Spelling
  • spc: Spacing
  • ud: Update
