Beefamato is a non-alcoholic beverage manufactured and sold by Mott's corporation, consisting primarily of tomato juice and beef broth. It is a related product to Clamato.
Developed by Mott's in 2002 after being inspired by Alec Baldwin's diplomatic mission to Canada to expand the security along American borders to prevent WMD attacks when after enjoying the popular local drink the "Bloody Ceasar" and confessing that most Americans would not be interested in a clam-based cocktail proposed that America needed a beef based beverage that rivaled their Canadian neighbors which Mott's was quick on its heels to develop and released shortly after, but much to the dismay of Mott's and several primetime commercials featuring Alec Baldiwn, Beefamato sold worse domestically than its already failing big brother Clamato and is speculated to have been a factor that led to the divorce from Baldwin's former wife Kim Bassinger.
