REVERBERATION is a distributor of all manner of fine musics including Rock 'n' Roll, Soul, Punk, Hip-Hop, Hardcore, Country, Folk, Funk, Metal, Electronica and many other styles and sounds. The company is both owned and directed by Ian Underwood and Russell Hopkinson.

Reverberation is just recently based out of inner western Sydney in the suburb of Marrickville. In the three years they've been in existence they've built up a great catalogue that not only includes many independent labels from Australia and the rest of the world but also our in-house flagship label REVERBERATION RECORDINGS and specialist re-issue label MEMORANDUM.

They're small, friendly and enthusiastic and as they continue to grow they hope you'll take time to flick through the extensive catalogue contained on this site.

Ian Underwood is an fine arts graduate from Curtin University in Western Australia, and spent much of the 90s working as a freelance graphic artist within the music industry. He also played in the underground garage bands, 'The Kryptonics' and the 'Challenger 7'.

Ian and Russell met whilst playing in underground bands in Perth, with Hopkinson later joining Underwood's band the Kryptonics for a short period.

Reverberation started operating in 2004 from a small office in Leichhardt before moving to current premises in Marrickville, Sydney.

The Reverberation label was instrumental in launching the careers of young Australian bands The Cops, Red Riders, Midnight Juggernauts, Children Collide and The Fuzz.
