Broomfield Park is the former home of Airdrieonians Football Club. The ground was sold to supermarket chain Safeway and demolished in 1994. Airdrieonians went on to play at the Shyberry Excelsior Stadium until they were liquidated in 2002.

The record attendance at Broomfield Park was 24,000 in match against Heart of Midlothian on the 8th of March 1952.
