Thaddeus James "Tad" Martin is a resident of the fictional town of Pine Valley on the American TV soap opera All My Children. Tad is currently played by Michael E. Knight. Knight has played the role off and on since 1982 (1982-86, 1988-90, 1992-present). Tad represents the good in All My Children, often butting heads with "villains" like Adam Chandler and Erica Kane. His relationship with Dixie Cooney made them a favorite of fans, reaching supercouple status.
