Man I just finished reading Gimmick (professional wrestling) and it really needs a super cleanup-cut, the article has a list that is rigged with POV and it's unencyclopedic in tone but without it the article is extremely short should I just cut the whole thing or what is recomended here? 凶 22:56, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Long story short we have to put up a defense. We could be dealing with some major problems with Nightmare 81 and his friends. He doesn't know about it yet. But we have to be ready for anything. Big Boss 0 16:01, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

There is a chance that we may be blocked for no reason. Possibly as somebody's sockpuppets. As far as his friends I have no idea who the hell they are. I tried to get him to tell me who they were a week ago but he refused to tell me. All he said is that everything would be taken care of. We are a threat to his plan because we know what he will do. We have to keep an eye out for this. Who knows. We might even recieve mass amounts of vandalism. I do not know what he is capable of yet. I do not know his potential as a vandal yet. I have as much information as you none at all.

You missed what I said. There is a possability that Nightmare may have his friends block us for no reason. They may also accuse us of being someone's sockpuppets or something. Just keep you eyes open in case something along these lines happens to me or you.

Wrestlemania victory

• MiTB=Edge

• Kane vs Khali=Kane

• Origionals vs New Breed = New Breed

• Women's Championship=Ashley

• U.S. Championship=MVP

• BotB=Lashley (However both will probably end up bald.)

• World Heavyweight Championship=Undertaker

• WWE Championship=Cena

Can i put who I think will win? If so here are my predictions:

• MiTB=Edge, because I'm sure he is planning to take a second go at the Rayed R champion bit

• Originals vs New Breed= Who cares really, I guess Originals

• Womens Championship:Melina, the heel winning would be a good shocker

• BoTB= Umaga (with help from the whole freakin lockeroom)

• U.s championship: Beniot, he needs some steam to keep going

• World Heavyweight championship= Could go either way, if undertaker loses its a big sign of him retiring soon

For whatever reason, I asked him civilly on his talk page to stop adding the DX info to the WM23 article. However, he seems to continue to remove my comment. I feel that is against policy, at least, I read that you should only delete other peoples' comments if they are uncivil or offensive in nature, which my comment were neither. I added it again after the first time he removed it, but he did his little redirect thing, and when you reverted it, it was no longer there. *shrug* ---- GIGGAS2 | Talk 22:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Archiving

Peace indeed! I really feel uncomfortable with the whole wikipedia attitude to archiving. If my talk page can spark a debate about that, and a really solid, non-acrimonious debate, that is something I would welcome. My approach to internet/computing is entirely based on search (and I work for a search engine as well) and I would like to see archives that were search friendly, which is not the case right now. I am being transparent to the extent that whatever irregular expressions you pump into searching on my page will give a good result. Its images and especially videos not text that create real digital space issues so one way and another you could say my talk page is a statement. And very happy to receive any kind of feedback re this issue and to engage in debate. What do you think?, SqueakBox 03:28, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Torrie Wilson

Please explain your latest edits on Torrie Wilson. You claim the fair use images you removed were in "violation of policy." What policy? How were they in violation? And where does it say .gif images are not allowed in articles?

In addition, removing the images is not the only thing you did...please explain the other changes you made to the article regarding it's text as well. I believe there is no reasoning behind them, especially in the removal of references. --JohnDoe0007 06:56, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

RE. Torrie Wilson

Thanks for the response...This ruling of fair use images of living persons...where is this documented? There are instances of this (as well as discussions) arguing this type of thing (notebly playboy covers in multiple WWE Diva biographical articles) in multiple places...If there really is a rule that trumps the arguement for fair use, then it would be helpful in ending the discussions...

Well now wait a minute. If there really were such a ruling "per order of Jimbo Wales himself" as you say, especially one based on "a legal issue," why in the hell would it be "buried somewhere within Wikipedia on some obscure page linking to Jimbo's overruling of the community that [you] will never find again?" That definitely makes no sense to me, which adds to my previous doubt, due in part to me, nor any of the other scores of users currently debating about such images never having heard of such a mandate. And such an important one at that. Why would Jimbo bother himself to basically make an executive order to end such fuss and then allow it to fall into the landfill of ignorance? And certainly, someone involved in, or running across such discussions would have heard of such a ruling...but I've never seen anyone else mention it.

In addition to all of this, your comment of the source of such a ruling not being pertinent ("it isn't important anyway") is of great concern. You expect me and others to believe and follow a "policy" you claim is the soul grounds for your grave actions of removal of content and then claim its source isn't important? --JohnDoe0007 05:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Hybrid. Sorry to get in on your discussion last night. As I told John, I was bored. Is this the section of the policy you refer to:
Any non-free media used on Wikipedia must meet all of these criteria: No free equivalent is available or could be created that would adequately give the same information. If unfree material can be transformed into free material, it should be done instead of using a "fair use" defense. For example, the information in a newspaper article can easily be used as the basis of an original article and then cited as a reference. Maps and diagrams can often be redrawn from original sources, though simply "tracing" copyrighted material does not make it free. Neither photographs nor sound clips, however, can usually be "transformed" in this way. However, if the subject of the photograph still exists, a freely-licensed photograph could be taken. (emphasis mine).

Kevin Nash

I heard that once Nash's contract with TNA is up that he might sign with WWE again. I also heard that we might see an nWo reunion if this occurs. Where did you read that Hogan and Hall had agreed to that?? There's no chance of Hall wrestling in WWE again. Nash's health problems preclude him from wrestling.
