Lead guitarist for Ratt, Warren DeMartini helped define a generation of lead electric guitar players that utilized slick timing, crunchy riffs and blistering scalar passages in the mid to late 1980s hair metal scene. Warren was at one point the roommate of Jake E. Lee, Ozzy Osbourne's second lead guitarist during his interminable solo career.
One of the biggest influences on DeMartini's style was Edward Van Halen. His ambient lead guitar tone and style was influenced by the first four Van Halen albums.
Warren's hobbies include surfing and computer programming.
Warren was also briefly a touring guitarist for Whitesnake, and has released a solo album titled Crazy Enough To Sing To You.
