Bold textCarrasco International AirportBold textis the largest airport in Uruguay. It is situated in Canelones, very near the capital city of Montevideo. Carrasco, is a neighbour which belongs to both provinces or departamentos (in spanish).
In the year 2003, the Airport was sold to a private investoring group.
