Wataru Yoshizumi (吉住渉; Yoshizumi Wataru, born June 18, 1963 in Tokyo, Japan) is a manga artist.

Yoshizumi started her career as a manga artist while working as an office lady. Her debut manga was a yomikiri (short story) called Radical Romance that was published in 1984, in the summer issue of Ribon Original.

Yoshizumi's first manga series for Ribon was Handsome na Kanojo, which lasted nine volumes. This was the first work that made her famous in Japan. Her next work, the 8-volume Marmalade Boy, is probably regarded as her most famous manga and has brought her both national and international recognition. After her hit manga, Kimi Shika Iranai (2 volumes), Wataru drew Mint na Bokura, (We Are Mints or Mint Relationship). In 2000, she created a 3-volume short story called "Random Walk.", followed in 2001 by Ultra Maniac, her third manga to be animated (after Handsome na Kanojo and Marmalade Boy which Toei had produced). Her current work is Baby It's You, which was serialized in Ribon Original.

She currently still produces manga for Ribon (which is published by Shueisha). Wataru has also gotten into the realm of josei manga with her two-part short story, Happiness which was published in Chorus.

Outside of drawing manga her hobbies are travelling and shopping. Her favorite food is chocolate and her favorite color is blue.
