Silver Decoy Winery is a winery in East Windsor in Mercer County, New Jersey.[1][2] The vineyard was first planted in 2001,[3] and opened to the public in 2003.[4][5][2] Silver Decoy Winery has 16 acres of grapes under cultivation, and producing 2,600 cases of wine per year.[1] The winery has a plenary winery license from the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, which allows it to produce an unrestricted amount of wine, operate up to 15 off-premises sales rooms, and ship up to 12 cases per year to consumers in-state or out-of-state.[6][7]
Silver Decoy Winery is not located in any of New Jersey's three American Viticultural Areas (AVA). It produces wine from Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Chardonnay, Marechal Foch, Merlot, Pinot Grigio Retriever, Riesling, Sangiovese, Syrah, Traminette, and Viognier grapes.[8][9] Alba also makes fruit wines from blueberries.[1][10] Silver Decoy Winery is a member of the Garden State Wine Growers Association, and holds events at its winery.[11]
