Welcome to the Wikipedia!
Hello, and Welcome to the Wikipedia, Strawberryfire! Thanks for adding the Ron Paul Wikilink to the 9/11 conspiracy theories article. Hope you enjoy editing here and becoming a Wikipedian! Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:
- Take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial and Manual of Style.
- When you have time, you can peruse The five pillars of Wikipedia, and assume good faith, but keep in mind the unique style you brought to the Wiki!
- Always keep the notion of NPOV in mind, be respectful of others' POV, and remember your perspective on the meaning of neutrality is invaluable!
- If you need any help, post your question at the Help Desk.
- Explore, be bold in editing, and, above all else, have fun!
And some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, Wikiquette, and you can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes: ~~~~.
Best of luck, Strawberryfire, and most importantly, have fun! Ombudsman 21:49, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

- Hi Strawberryfire, your arguments in favour of keeping the above image need to be posted at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion#April 22 in the sub-section devoted to that image, instead of at Talk:Ruthless stickers. Discussion at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion is what administrators take into consideration when they make the decision to delete/keep. All the best, Kurieeto 16:48, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Nlyng.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Nlyng.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:09, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- as you assert that this qualifies as a promo photo under fair use, you should probably user the {{promo}} tag. Just put {{promo}} in the text --rogerd 01:41, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- im sorry but....how exactly do i do that? Strawberryfire 20:56, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- just edit Image:Nlyng.jpg and add {{promo}} to the text and remove the {{untagged|month=May|day=24|year=2006}} text. I would do it, but it is better if it comes from the person asserting fair use. --rogerd 03:32, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
