What is "cognitive" about it?
(No difference)

Revision as of 23:08, 4 December 2002

Can anyone clarify what "cognitive" means in "cognitive behavior therapy"? Is it the same kind of "cognitive" as in "cognitive science" or "cognitive psychology", which meants something like "related to thinking"? Does it have something to do with "cognitive" as used in some philosophical traditions? Does it make any sense at all? Is the usage here a random historical accident? --Ryguasu 23:08 Dec 4, 2002 (UTC)
