Short form for synthetic gas.
Synthetic gas is the name given to the gasses that are generated in various waste to energy facilities.
THese gasses are combustable, and are often stored to be burned as a fuel source.
For the most part, the ammount of syngas produced in a waste to energy facility is only enough to keep the plant operating.
