The Dalek Lieutenant is the next rank of Dalek under The Dalek Supreme. It is also the only rank next above Dalek Warrior.
The Dalek Lieutenant is merely a pawn in the Dalek Empire, relaying messages from Dalek Drones to the Supreme Dalek and back again. Although the Dalek Lieutenant is never given credit in many TV shows, the Dalek Lieutenant is first seen in the film Dr. Who & The Daleks (The red Dalek with black bumps and claw appendage).
In the TV series, The Dalek Lieutenant is given the same livery as the Dalek Warriors, but is recognized by his spot right next to The Dalek Supreme. The only time we do see The Dalek Lieutenant in charge of a situation is in Destiny Of The Daleks, where the Dalek Lieutenant is in charg eof excavations on Skaro to retrieve Davros as well as supplying Davros with information from The Supreme Dalek.
