Johnny Ekström (born March 5, 1965) is a former Swedish footballer.
He is most noted for his career in IFK Göteborg, where he was highly successful. As a professional he was less successful, often just staying a year in the team. He became both Swedish and German Champion, with Göteborg and Bayern Munich respectively.
He had also appeared for the Swedish national team.
His nick names in Sweden are “Kallebäcks-Expressen” (the express from Kallebäck) or "Johnny Bråttom" (Johnny in a hurry) due to his speed on the football pitch.
