Anchor Bay High School is a four year secondary school located in Fair Haven, Michigan (Macomb County), and it is part of the Anchor Bay School District. Anchor Bay graduates 500 students each year, although there are over 2,000 enrolled. As of 2006, the school principal is Judy Stefanac.

New school

The school was once located in New Baltimore, Michigan on Sugarbush Road, but has since moved to Fair Haven. The school was moved after school district voters passed a $114-million bond in 1999 to build a new high school and make other upgrades to area schools. Construction began on the new school in April 2001. The relocated school, now on County Line Road, opened August 26, 2003. When opened it was the largest high school in Michigan (and still is) and the 3rd largest in the nation at over 486,000 sq.ft. Recent additions to the school have made it even larger.

Now in its fourth year, the first class to live their entire high school years in the new school are beginning their final year. There are around 500 plus freshmen and about 2000 students total. There is a Marching Band 200 strong and there are still openings. The football team has won its first victory, and their last, this year (away v. Utica) and are looking at a good season, despite the fact that they lost their homecoming game 38 to nothing. The first football game was on Friday, Sept. 8th.

Student Activities Coordinator Susan Accivatti, with help from Chris Mitchell and Jamie Spinelli, Senior Class President, takes care of Parking Passes, Yearbooks, Student Council, Homecoming events, Prom and so on.
