Colyton Grammar School is a selective mixed Grammar school located in Colyford, Devon in the South west of England. Despite a somewhat remote location Colyton maintains a very high level of academic success.
Academic Achievements
The pupils results regularily top the national state schools tables for GCSE and A-level.
History
Colyton Grammar School was founded in 1546, located within the Colyton Parish Church and run by the Fyffees of Colyton.It moved to its current site in 1924 and has been much expanded and altered in recent years with very modern facilities.
Recent and Upcoming developments
Construction of the new Art building now finished and has been used since its completion before the beginning of the Summer Term of the 2005-2006 school year.----
