Operation Ivy was a punk band whose members Tim Armstrong Matt Freeman went on to form Rancid.
They a 12-inch record called "Energy" on Lookout Records in March 1989. The Sound could be discribed as ska punk. There is no Tim Armstrong noted as part of the band on this record. This has been the only 12-inch they released.
