The Shogakukan Manga Award is one of Japan's major manga awards sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing. Awarded annually for serialized manga, this award has started since 1955 and features candidates from a number of publishers.

. Boys' category = Shōnen muke bumon 少年向け部門 (lit. "boys suitability/intended category")
. Girls' category = Shōjo muke bumon 少女向け部門 (lit. "girls suitability/intended category")
(Previously a joint Boys'/Girls' category = Shōnen shōjo muke bumon 少年少女向け部門)
. General category = Ippan no muke bumon 一般向け部門 (lit. "general suitability/intended category")
(Previously called Young Adult/General category = Seinen ippan no muke bumon 青年一般向け部門, though "Young Adult" here approximately means "ages 18-25")
