JSR 223: Scripting for the JavaTM Platform is a framework for embadding scripts into java source codes. Java SE 6 includes a Script Engine based on Rhino: JavaScript for Java version 1.6R2. The final release of the specification of JSR000223 Scripting for the JavaTM Platform is released on December 11, 2006.
