Necrobotics is the practice of repurposing dead spiders by pumping them with air to reactivate their gripping arms.[1][2][3] In July 2022, researchers at the Preston Innovation Lab at Rice University in Houston, Texas published a paper in Advanced Science demonstrating and describing the capability.[1]
