Module:Protected edit request is permanently protected from editing because it is a heavily used or highly visible module. Substantial changes should first be proposed and discussed here on this page. If the proposal is uncontroversial or has been discussed and is supported by consensus, editors may use {{edit template-protected}} to notify an administrator or template editor to make the requested edit.

"Error: Protected edit requests can only be made on the talk page." error

@Pppery: I see you made the latest edit (16 July 2021) to this module, in the area where this error is generated.

See Template:Admin dashboard/light/sandbox#Current requests for edits to a protected page where errors are shown where Wikipedia:Requests for page protection/Edit is transcluded to dashboards. These are not errors on the Requests for page protection/Edit page itself, even though this isn't a talk page. Can you stop flagging errors when this page is transcluded elsewhere? override can only be made on the talk page

Done Passing |skiptalk=yes now overrides that check. I also removed the check for being on RFPP (part of an idea of mine to merge Wikipedia:Requests for page protection/Edit with the edit request template process that turned out not to work and was abandoned), and fixed a longstanding bug where {{edit protected}} on a non-talk page caused an error. * Pppery * _{it has begun...} 16:09, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How to add 'editautoreviewprotected' level to a test copy of this module?

Hello everybody! I'm trying to implement this module in ptwiki (in a test space). It worked, but there we have a level of protection that the module does not deal with: that of autoreviewers (autoreview). The only tip I understood was the error that returns informing "not knowing the 'editautoreviewprotected' level".

Everything worked after translation and I would like to add the mentioned protection level.

I didn't understand some lines of code, because I'm not a programmer yet (I'm self-taught), and I would like to know if it will be necessary to edit "Module:Effective protection level" as well.

Can anyone guide me regarding the necessary modifications for this purpose? If anyone, calmly and patiently, can teach or guide me, I will be very grateful and will implement it there.
