Abstract and Applied Analysis is a peer reviewed mathematical journal focusing on papers in the fields of abstract and applied analysis and traditional forms of analysis such as linear and nonlinear, both ordinary and partial differential equations, optimization theory, and control theory. The journal was created in 1996 by Professor Athanassios G. Kartsatos of the Department of Mathematics of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Professor Kartsatos was the editor-in-chief of the journal from 1996 to 2005.
