New digital cameras have automatic panoramic functions. These all use the same technology but are marketed under different names. Some of these names are: Sweep panorama (Sony) Smart panorama (Olympus) Motion panorama (Fujifilm) [1] Easy panorama (Nikon)

The effect is created by using a camera with a CMOS sensor and taking multiple exposures while controlling the exposure setting. The camera combines the pictures into a large panoramic shot.

List of known cameras with function: Fuji: HS10, HS20EXR, F550EXR, F500EXR, F300EXR,Z900EXR, Z800EXR: Sony: HX1, HX5/5V, TX1, WX1, W370, W350 Olympus: SZ20, SZ30 Nikon: P300
