Planjava (2394 m) is the highest and most massive mountain on the eastearn side of Kamnik Alps. On the western side there steep wall over Kamniško sedlo, on the eastern side there is long ridge toward Škarje. On the northern side there is almost 1000 meters high wall into Logarska dolina.
History of climbing
First turist was Franz Hohenwart in 1793 with local Sprunk from Kamniška Bistrica. It is speculated that there were local hunters before them. The mountain is one of the most visited in Slovenia.
