CodeFuel is a provider of website engagement and monetization software for publishers, developers and advertisers. These products are used for traffic, video and display advertising. CodeFuel is a division of Perion Network Ltd (NASDAQ: PERI)*.[2][3]

History

In January 2014, the Client Connect division of Conduit merged with Perion Network Ltd. (NASDAQ: PERI), a global consumer software company, to form Perion CodeFuel with Josef Mandelbaum, former CEO of the AG Intellectual Properties Group at American Greetings, as CEO.[4] In June 2014, Perion CodeFuel partnered with Lenovo to build a new program called Lenovo Browser Guard, to be pre-installed on select Lenovo laptops, PCs and tablets.[5][6] In July 2014 Perion Codefuel announced a partnership with CYREN, a provider of cloud-based security solutions.[7] In August 2014, the company signed a three-year agreement with Bing, Microsoft’s web search engine, extending its existing partnership. The new agreement runs from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017. Perion Network Ltd. Is a NASDAQ listed, publicly traded company.[8][9] In July 2015 the name was changed from Perion Codefuel to Codefuel.[10][11]

Technology

CodeFuel analyzes user data and ad revenue for app developers. Codefuel includes:

Sitefuel - an in-site monetization widget focused entirely on user experience.
DisplayFuel - an ad network
SearchFuel - search tools to monetize apps, extensions and websites.
BroadcastFuel – a medium to spread ‘premium’ video media across PC, tablet and mobile screens.
MobileFuel – for Mobile Apps developers.[12]
