A computer table generally has wheels and is specifically used for a computer and its peripherals (keyboard, mouse, monitor, trackball, speakers ).

Gyratory computer tables can be used over a bed by people that are bed-ridden (i.e. because a spine problem they have to be horizontal). In this case is convenient to use trackball (instead of mouse) and a keyboard extension cable. This is often used with a Liquid_crystal_display_television monitor, which is much smaller, lighter and sold than a CRT monitor.
