A famous Polish football player. Born in 1956, first played in Zawisza Bydgoszcz, later in Widzew Lodz. In 1982 tranferred to Juventus, thus becoming the first Polish football player striving for international career. He won bronze medal at World Cup (1982), Cupwinners Cup (1984), European Supercup (1984) and Masters Cup (1985). He scored 24 goals in 80 matches in Polish national team. After finishing his professional career in AC Roma in 1988 he had successful business career. Lately, Boniek has been vice-precident of Polish Football Association.
