After Woodbridge College went back to becoming a regular neighborhood school with students entering at grade 9 the new principal Mrs. Conrad-Knight came to a realization that that all of the school bus transportation was an error and should have been removed as soon as the school was turned back into a regular public school starting from grade 9 from an alternitive school that started at grade 7. Letters were sent home at the beginning of october due to fuming parents whos children had no alternatives to getting to school. Although Mrs. Conrad-Knight realized the error of the school buses she failed to realize the fact that the students uniforms are also an error too which should have been fixed because all other public schools in the region dont have uniforms. But until the principal of this upstanding school comes to that realization, students at Woodbridge College will be stuck as the only students in the York Region District School Board with uniforms, not to mention paying their uniforms at a grossly high price.
The school has a fitness center and offers many sports in its extra-curricular program, including badminton, football, cross country, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, baseball, softball, and rugby. The schools teams are known as the "Wyverns" (What a pussi Name.)
There is no school busing for students, however, certain students (unsure how this is decided) can get free public transit month passes which most of them decide to sell to other students for self-profit.
As soon as students came back from Christmas break the science classrooms were shutdown due to a substantial amount of life threatening mould found in the ceiling.
A week after the mold was discovered in the science labs, traces of asbestos were found in the water fountains and sinks in the lower level washrooms. The principal, Ms. Debra Conrad Knight, told staff to keep quiet about the asbestos until a student revealed their secret which caused a letter to be sent to each home.
As a result of the lack of busing the pricipal of Woodbridge College has decided to make all student parking free.
