Author Gregory Maguire is the author of the two Wicked books. The first, Wicked - The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, was published in 1996 and made into the current hit Broadway musical Wicked in 2003. The second book, Son of a Witch will be published later this year (2005).
