Bernard Bolzano

Bernard Placidus Johann Nepomuk Bolzano (October 5, 1781 - December 18, 1848) was a mathematician and philosopher. He was born on October 5 in Prague, Bohemia (now [[Czech Republic).

He is known for Bolzano's theorem, and also jointly with Weierstrass developed the Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem.
