Chesterfield Inlet (Inuktitut: Igluligaarjuk, Syllabics: ᐃᒡᓗᓕᒑᕐᔪᒃ) is located on the western shore of Hudson Bay in Nunavut Canada at the mouth of Chesterfield Inlet. Igluligaarjuk is the Inuktitut word for "place with few houses", it is the oldest community in Nunavut. The 2008 Rand McNally Road Atlas shows a new name of Igluligaarjuk, but its status as official is not known.

The community is served by air and by annual supply sealift.

As of the 2006 census the population was 332 a decrease of 3.8% from the 2001 census.[1]
