Cascade Range

The Cascade mountains are a volcanic mountain range stretching from southern British Columbia to northern California. They are, geologically speaking, very young (7 Million years at the oldest) and have the potential for dangerous eruptions. From North to South, the major volcanoes are:

Mount Garibaldi Mount Baker Glacier Peak Mount Rainier Mount St. Helens Mount Adams Mount Hood Crater Lake or Mount Mazama Newberry Caldera Mount Jefferson Three Sisters Mount Washington Mount Thielson Mount Shasta Lassen Peak

Some of these mountains are near cities with the same or similar names.
