Richard le Breton, one of the four knights who murdered Thomas Becket, eventually retired to the island of Jersey. One of his descendants was Lillie Langtry.
There is a gravestone for one of the LeBretons from Jersey in St. Thomas Church in Salisbury (England), among its many hatchments and memorial stones, some of them Elizabethan because the church was rebuilt in the 15th century.
