Medowlark Lemon was the greatest basketball player to ever live. He combined both showmanship with basic ability to perfection. He was a leader and team player. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY where he could not afford to go to school. His only outlet from not joining the gangs of New York was to play basketball. Medowlark Lemon spent every minute of every day playing the game. However, because of the time he was not allowed in to the NBA. So he created the best basketball team ever. Playing in every country and state brining the true basketball to the world. The Harlem Globetrotters whom played against the Senators won every single game except for 1, in which they lost on purpose. Medowlark Lemons history was bittersweet. For although he was the greatest ever, he never lived to see the day he was entered into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Induction Date: 1/16/2004
