The Private Life of Chairman Mao is an extensive biography of Mao Zedong, published in 1994 by his personal physician Dr. Li Zhisui after fleeing to the USA following Mao Zedong's death. The book portraits Mao as a cunning sex maniac, more or less responsible for the chaos in China during the Cultural Revolution.
