A zebra is a horse-like animal with black and white stripes. It lives in Africa.

Zebra is a medical term for an obscure and unlikely diagnosis from ordinary symptoms. A common 'failing' in new doctors, who are advised - "When you here hoof-beats think horses not zebras"
