Robotic Nightmare
Robotic Nightmare is a playable character debuting in Super Mario Strikers (known as Mario Smash Football in Europe). He is also the only unlockable character. You have to defeat him and his team called The Super Team in the Bowser Cup to play as him and his team. Unlike the other teams, you can't chose his teammates as he has 3 other robots exactly like him. His team also has a Robotic Kritter, a type of Kremling, as a goalie. In the game he is almost always known as "Super". You can only see his name in the character summaries in the select screens during Cup Battles and Super Cup Battles . He was created by Bowser in an attempt to win the Cup Battles, as Bowser was unable to participate with the captains in the leagues. All of the Robotic Nightmares have the ability to perform a Super Strike. Hence the name "Super Team".

Taunts and his Super Strike
Entry: When in the opening scene he walks to the middle the playing field he taunts his opponent by levitating up above the ground while lightning strikes him.
Celebration after a goal: One of his most respected taunts is the dance manuever "the robot". He also runs along side the camera and stares at it. Sometimes he backflips multiple times back to the middle of the field.
Victory: After he wins he rockets off the playing field.
His Super Strike is not named. Electricity surronds him as he stomps on the ball. Sparks trail the soccer ball as it goes into the goal.
