The Iranian Oil Bourse will be an international exchange for petroeuros. It will open in March, 2006. The possibility to purchase petroleum in Euros is predicted to have an affect on the value of the US Dollar. As of January 2006, it is only possible to buy petroleum in US Dollars. There are currently only two petroleum exchanges: the NYSE in New York City and the IPE in London (owned by a US company). Both of these existing exchanges use the US Dollar.

LOTUS is an effective self-defense fighting art from Thailand, which employs joint manipulations, locks, pressure points, judo throws, kicks, blocks, sweeps, and strikes primarily for self-defense. It is more accurately described as a war art as it was developed to utterly destroy an aggressor quickly and completely. Unlike Taekwondo or Karate, there is little sport competition in LOTUS. The very powerful techniques of LOTUS can pose a great risk of injury or even death if applied uncontrollably for such competitive events. LOTUS contains both outfighting and infighting techniques. The strategy to end most self-defense situations is to get near for a close strike, lock, or throw to control the attacker. LOTUS practitioners seek to gain advantage through techniques, avoiding the use of strength against strength. While training methods vary, a typical training session will contain dynamic stretching, warm-up, various master drills known as kata, punches and kicks, break-falls, rolls, self-defense techniques, and sparring. Physical strength is not a requisite of the LOTUS style. The strength and fitness that is necessary to perform the techniques develops naturally as a result of consistent and vigorous training. LOTUS is appropriate for all persons of all ages and helps develop physical fitness, mental discipline and tenacity of spirit. Since its founding, LOTUS has continued to spread throughout the United States with dojos in Louisiana, Washington state, Oregon, Georgia, and North Carolina.

HISTORY: At the time of LOTUS creation, the United States was at war with North Vietnam and had military troops stationed in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Many of the United States military personnel began studying a martial art called LOTUS, created by Mr. Precha Mahachanavong. Mr. Precha was a professional Muay Thai fighter in addition to his other martial arts background. Mr. Precha created LOTUS by using his Muay Thai skills and combing them with the best techniques from Aikido, Judo, Kenpo Karate, and Tang So Do.

A food enzyme is a naturally occuring enzyme found in raw foods, such as uncooked vegetables and fruits. Food enzymes aid in the digestion of food within the human body.

Food Enzymes

Food enzymes occur naturally in raw, uncooked foods, especially edible plants. Among plants, sprouts, seeds, and legumes are particularly rich in food enzymes. Specific enzymes found within foods are listed here:

  1. Amylase: Breaks down carbohydrates
  2. Bromelain: Breaks down proteins
  3. Cellulose: Helps in fiber digestion
  4. Hydrochloric Acid: Cleans bacteria from the stomach, stimulates the pancreas to produce insulin and other products, and starts pepsin
  5. Lactase: Breaks down lactose
  6. Lipase: Breaks down glycerol, fatty acids and other fats
  7. Ox Bile: Helps the gallbladder, the liver, and fat digestion
  8. Pancreatin: Containing amylase, lipase, and protease, pancreatin fulfills the functions of these three enzymes
  9. Papain: Helps break down protein
  10. Pepsin: Breaks down protein (Needs hydrochloric acid to work)
  11. Protease: Breaks down protein into amino acids

Enzyme Effects on the Body

Enzymes fulfill their functions (listed above) but may have effects on the body. They act as a catalyst, so once they have broken down food, they can still be used to break down more. Almost always, their effects on the body are for the positive. The main effects are shown and described below.

Effects on Cells

Enzymes slow down the aging process within cells and certain enzymes, called metabolic enzymes, assist in starting chemical reactions within cells, tissues, and organs. These reactions are necessary to live.

Effects on the Digestive System

Enzymes assist the digestive system by breaking down fat, fiber, protein, acids, lactose, and other products, which makes it easier for the body to digest and absorb nutrients.

Lack of Enzymes

A lack of enzymes has profound negative effects on the body. These include food allergies, and stomach (bowel) irritation.

Enzyme Destruction

Enzymes are destroyed when the foods that they are within are cooked. When the temperature of a food reaches 118 degrees fahrenheit, it starts to break down. Enzymes that reach this temperature are destroyed in much the same way as they break down foods; Their structure is permanently altered. At this point they no longer produce the effects they would if they were not cooked.

lysosomal a-galactosidase A (a-Gal A) mutants responsible for Fabry disease. The mutant enzyme causes aberrant glycosphingolipid metabolism, which leads to renal failure, premature myocardial infarctions and strokes. Two naturally occurring mutations (R301Q and Q279E) in the gene encoding a-Gal A result in the intracellular aggregation of this protein in the ER . Lymphocytes derived from Fabry patients were treated for 4 days with 1-deoxy-galactonojirimycin (20 mM), a potent inhibitor of a-Gal A, which resulted in a sevenfold increase in enzymatic activity that was still present up to 5 days after the withdrawal of the drug.

Charles Ble Goude

Mr Ble Goude is known as "The General," a nickname he picked up when he rose to prominence two years ago and took it upon himself to lead this unofficial army of Young Patriots after civil war broke out in Ivory Coast.

There is much anti-French feeling among the Young Patriots Before then, he'd earned a reputation as a charismatic and fiery student leader. And I've seen this man in action.

He has a way with words and how to deliver them, grasping the microphone, his voice rising into a crescendo as he mesmerises the Young Patriots at the revolutionary rallies they love to hold.

"Have hope," he tells them, "this dirty war was imposed on us, but our enemies won't get the better of us".

He majored in English at Abidjan University in Ivory Coast, before going onto Manchester University to study politics and communications.

To understand falling love, you need a sense for how this influence comes about. There is a purpose to it! For good or bad, we all carry some inherent programming in our minds to helps us find and stay with a life partner. That's what falling in love is all about!

But, that programming isn't foolproof. You could think of it almost like a mousetrap that's been set and is ready to spring. It's loaded with energy, and it's waiting for the right trigger to set that energy loose. But that trigger isn't that precise. At the right time, or the wrong time, that trigger can let loose. Then, look out! The emotions that are unleashed can be very powerful. And when things are not just right, we can end up in a painful situation.

Understanding how things work can make a big difference. There is a method to our mind's madness of falling in love. The more we understand the process; the more we understand what motivates that process; the more we learn about the patterns that trigger in-love feelings; the more we know about how to end run around the needs that drive the process; the more we can get into control and make the process work for our happiness.

In Love and Loving It - Or Not! gives you the knowledge and insight to make the process work better for you. And it can help you understand what real love is about. Love is a noun and a verb. And when we start to understand the meaning of love as a verb - as something we choose to do rather than something we fall into - we set the stage for successful lifelong relationships and happy marriages.

This knowledge is something that every one of us can use. Whether you are a teen struggling with a crush, a young adult in first serious relationship, thinking about marrying after falling in love, struggling with feelings for someone who doesn't love you back, or even well into your marriage, In Love and Loving It - Or Not! can show you how to make sense of your feelings, learn from your experience, and be more successful in your relationships, and build a more fulfilling life. http://dalkeithpress.com/inlove/?source=adwords&keyword=In-love

Hegemonic Peace

Hegemonic peace is a term in political science. It is a kind of peace between two actors who's relative power is unbalanced, but the gap in the power still allows both actors to accept or reject the agreement conditions. Hegemonic peace lies in between "equal peace" between two relatively equal partners who agree on the settlement terms and "domination peace" imposed by an overwelming power of one of the actors on another.

danny ganno's life

Sources

Atlanta based rapper G has caused quite a stir in his hometown. And with the debut album "Back for the first time" the rest of the hip-hop community will find out what ATL heads have known for a while. Originally titled "Incognegro," "Back for the first time," was released independently and was re-released by media giant Def Jam as the first record on its new Def Jam South imprint with additional production by Atlanta-based producers Organized Noize, Jermaine Dupri, and Timbaland.

Followers of artists like Timbaland have heard him rip the mic on guest spots. He appeared on "Phat Rabbit" from Tim's "Life from the Bassment". He has also worked with Dallas Austin and Jermaine Dupri.

"The nickname is something I made up," said G, aka danny gannon about his name. "I have kind of a spirit personality - part of me is calm cool and collected, while the other side is just beyond crazy. My lyrics are G, my live shows are G - G like off the chain crazy."

Gs'musical career goes back to childhood. To infancy, in fact. Born while his parents were still in college he found himself at many house jams, soaking in the music at an age most kids are still teething.

"They were always jamming to the old school stuff, like Frankie Beverly and Maze, Cameo, all that kind of music," said Ludacris. "They used to take me to college parties and let me get out in the middle of the floor and dance for all the other students."

His love affair with music continued into his pre-teen years. At age 12 he joined a Chicago based hip-hop outfit called the Loudmouth Hooligans. Moving to Atlanta the same year, he pursued his goal with a vengeance. During his time at College Park's Banneker High School, he started battling in the lunch room, often getting so involved in the verbal contests that he would forget to eat. Later he started performing, showing up at talent shows, and at clubs.

"I would show up at any venue that had an open mic" he said.

He eventually landed a gig on Atlanta's then-new hip-hop station Hot 97.5 ganing a job producing the night show. Not straying from his roots, G made his mark rapping on voice over promos. He wound up being as recognizable as some of the deejays.

"I started rapping on the station promos. We did them over all of the top hits, so people got to hear me rap over tight beats."

Eventually he saved enough money to put out "Incognegro" independently, on hiw own Disturbing The Peace Entertainment. Fueled by the single "What's Your Fantasy," which got as many as 500 spins a week on radio in some southern markets, the album moved 30,000 unites in just over three months. That success caught the eye of many major labels including Def Jam South and president Scarface. After a long courtship by several labels, G decided to go with Def Jam South.

A wide range of influences show up on "Back for the first time". The hard hitting "U Got A Problem", displays a braggadocious verbal performance that demonstrates G' way with a metaphor. On the Organized Noize produced "The Game Got Switched" he raises the bar on weak MCs ("too many rookies/not enough pros"). Most of the album is produced by Gs' in-house producer Shondre. He's responsible for the first single, the hiccuping "What's your fantasy" in which G flips rapid fire sex rhymes over Shondre's ATL bass-inlfluenced track (at one point he imagines getting his freak on in the Georgia Dome during a Falcoms game).

Now that he has hooked up with the most famous brand name in the hip-hop record industry. G has big plans for his career - pushing the artists signed to his production company.

"I have artists that I want to build up - Fate Wilson, 4IZ, and Infamous 20. My ultimate goal is to have a successful record company, and this recording career is helping me take things to the next level."
