Orlando Rodriguez Mercado (b. 11/7/1961) was a Puerto Rican baseball player, who became a local star for his play in the Portland Beavers Triple-A franchise in the late 1980's. He had a few short stints in the majors with the Detroit Tigers, Dodgers, and Oakland A's. Though, he never had the success he had in the minor leagues.
