The Dutch Wikipedia is a Dutch edition of Wikipedia. Started on 19 June 2001, this edition reached 100,000 articles on 14 October 2005. It shortly surpassed the Polish Wikipedia as the sixth largest edition of Wikipedia, but since then it fell back to the eighth position. On 24 January 2006, the 125,000th article was added.
