Claudine Mercier began her career in the early-80’s singing with the acapella vocal group Artishows, and with Canadian singer Norman Iceberg. After graduating from a Theater School in 1989, Claudine Mercier went on to become one of Quebec’s favorite and funniest comedians.

In 1993, she instantly gained widespread recognition in Quebec with her first One Woman Show. Best known for duplicating celebrities such as Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor, Madonna, and Quebec businesswoman Lise Watier, she also eventually got critical acclaim in Europe. Her unique style, combined with an electrifying personality and her multiple talents earned her numerous nominations and awards, including one Felix in 1998, and three Olivier in 1999 for her second One Woman Show.

In 2003, Claudine was back with her third One Woman Show and an onslaught of new larger than life impressions. Filling theatres wherever she performs, Mercier has drawn hundreds of thousands to her shows.

In 2005, Claudine Mercier made a unforgettable film debut, playing four different characters in the popular Idole Instantanée - directed by Yves Desgagnés, and produced by Denise Robert.
