Brock Edward Lesnar (born on July 12, 1977 in Webster, South Dakota) was a professional wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment. He has currently "put his WWE career on hold" to pursue a career in the NFL.

Wrestling History

Lesnar was an outstanding amateur wrestler and went to the University of Minnesota on a full wrestling scholarship. He is a former 2-time NCAA National Wrestling champion as a heavyweight.

In 1999 he signed with the WWE and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling for development. He was trained as a professional by Danny Davis. In 2002, Lesnar was called up to WWE and was immediately pushed, winning the King of the Ring and the WWE World Heavyweight Title that year.

Lesnar has announced that following Wrestlemania XX, he will be leaving the WWE and the wrestling business altogether to pursue a career in the NFL. Brock Lesnar is a three time WWE World Heavyweight champion and won the 2002 King of the Ring and the 2003 Royal Rumble. Lesnar has made a huge impact on the company and business in his short two years and will be missed. (Source)

He wrestled The Big Show in the WWE's first stretcher match in 17 years at WWE Judgment Day 2003 and was victorious.
